XENOptics Smart Optical Switch is on show with Senko Advanced at Interop Tokyo 2025, one of the largest internet and networking shows in the world. When Interop started in 1994, it has been at the forefront of changes in the internet, and therefore our world.
Interop is where various vendors and technologies converged to demonstrate “interoperability” and the latest in cutting edge technologies. The philosophy has always been “I know it works because I saw it at Interop.”
XENOptics is extremely proud that the XENOptics Smart Optical Switch (XSOS-576D) is a finalist for Interop Best of Show Award, APN (All Photonics Network), as nominated by our show partner, Senko Advanced Components.
The XSOS-576D is also part of ShowNET, racked in MDF#8 and visitors to the Network Operations Centre can see the unit in action!
We’ve been following the team building out ShowNET on their Note.com blog here … with Day 9 showing the incredibly dense MDF#8 being tested. We commend the experts and volunteers who are building out ShowNET, it is an incredible achievement and the evolution of the topology from 1994 to today shows how mind-boggling large the network actually is.
